I'm my husband's Bride and my (miracle) Daughter's Mama. I'm a Board Certified Counselor who traded in being the Director of own private counseling practice for CEO and Director as a stay at home mom and wife. In the last year I've also added daycare into the mix, while still using my degree and credentials off the record via mentoring young women and moms.

Coming from a past, that is painful because of other's actions and my reactions to those, I long to share with others, the hope and healing I ultimately found after over a decade of self injury, eating disorders, and unhealthy life choices.

I also long to share my heart when it comes to dealing with infertility and loss as that has played a significant role in my life journey.

Writing is a passion of mine and I am blessed to be able to fulfill that passion via blogging and freelance writing. I also have some manuscripts hidden away on my hard drive, that I work on in my spare time.

In the summer of 2009 I began Mama Buzz and in December of 2009, I was accepted as advisory panelist to sheblogs.org.

I'm constantly pursuing ways to live the all-natural, self-sustaining life. In the future, my husand and I dream of building our own green, self-sufficient home someday, and taking in kids that are abused, neglected, and terminally ill. We want to use art, music, nature, gardening, and animals to help the healing process for these earthly angels. Until that day, we soak up being parents to our daughter, loving everyone God brings our way, and living each moment to the best of our ability!
