derma e Natural Bodycare Review/Giveaway

When summertime hits, for my family, it means we’re going to be outside a lot.  Whether we’re camping or we’re just out in the backyard working in the garden, it never fails that we end up covered from head to toe in bug bites.  Bug bites are the worst, especially at night when they seem to itch all the more.

Stop Itch from derma e is a great product that will honestly be in my medicine cabinet from now on, if I have any say about it.  It’s meant to be an instant relief creme; while it didn’t just instantly take away the itch for me, it definitely took the edge off of it, and I didn’t have the urge to scratch at all; it definitely soothed and gave relief, as it did take away the itch after about 30-60 seconds, for me.

Every time I go out to work in my flower beds, I am always covered in bites the next day.  With this cream, I’ve been able to find relief.  It’s not just for bug bites, though; it can be used for any type of dry, scaly, itchy skin, even poison ivy or poison sumac.  It’s a more natural product that takes away the itch and has a calming, cooling sensation for the area of skin in distress.  With natural ingredients like Oats, Chamomile, Evening Primrose Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil (tea tree oil), and Calendula, it’s definitely a healthier choice in skincare.  The scent is a fresh peppermint scent, since the cream also contains peppermint oil.  I think the cooling sensation is what really helps with the itch.

The cream is very light and velvety, and it smooths right on with no problems.  It doesn’t take a lot either; it takes just a dab for it to do the job.  I use this on both myself and my kids, as they’re constantly getting bites in the summer, as well.  You can purchase the Stop Itch Instant Relief Creme for $16.50 from derma e.  It comes in a 2-oz. jar, which will last our family quite a while.  Derma e does not do any type of animal testing, and they’re committed to being eco-friendly; for instance, they use 100% wind energy.

Derma e sent me several other little sample packets to try, and I just wanted to mention a couple.  They carry all types of natural bodycare products, and one packet was the Fruit Smoothee Facial Cleanser, which sells for $12.50.  This facial soap smelled so good that I could have eaten it.  It was the scent of pomegranate, cranberry, grape, and acai berry, all rolled into one.  Another product I tried was the Age-Defying Night Creme, which sells for $39.50.  This cream had an orange color to it, and it’s meant for your face, your neck, etc.  It’s a smooth, more natural cream to help provide more moisture to your face, as well as protect it from damage.

Now you can win either a jar of Stop Itch Instant Relief Creme or the product of your choice! You can enter to win by doing one or more of the following.  Just be sure to leave a separate comment for each way that you enter.  I’ll draw the winner, via random.org, on Tuesday, August 17.  This giveaway is open to U.S. only.  Good luck, and have a wonderful day!
