The time of potty training has returned, once again, to our house….this means that wherever I go, if Jaden’s not in a Pull-Up, I have to carry an extra set or two of clothes. I remember when Jacob was in daycare, and I would have to bring home the occasional wet clothes (from an accident). I always had to carry them in a plastic Walmart bag, which, as we know, is definitely not good for the environment. I wish I had known about Planet Wise back then.
Planet Wise is a company that not only makes great products for moms/kids, but they care about the earth, as well. They sent me a Wet/Dry Bag to review. Their designs are so beautiful, it was hard to pick just one. I ended up going with the Green Meadow, which is a sort of tropical flowery design, almost whimsical, in bright, bold colors. With a brown background and green, blue, yellow and red designs swirled in, it’s quite stylish. This bag is great because I can either fold it up and stick it in my purse, or with the snap strap, I can snap it to our stroller. The bag has two pockets, so that I can keep dry items in one compartment and wet items in the other. The zippers lock, plus the inner layer is waterproof with sealed seams, meaning the wet compartment won’t leak into the dry compartment or outside the bag. The best part is that this bag is machine washable….so, after carrying a load of clothes home, I can just throw it in the washer. It also has odor resistance. This wet/dry bag can be used to carry anything really, not just clothes or diapers.
My wet/dry bag is quite roomy, so it can handle more than just a lightweight load. It’s PVC free and lead free, so it’s a healthier choice in a reusable wet/dry bag, both for our family and for the earth. Planet Wise doesn’t just care about the earth, though; they care about their employees, and what really struck a chord with me was that they let their employees work around their family schedules.ÂÂ
They even allow employees to bring young children to work with them. I just think that’s an amazing thing, and what a difference that must make to the families who work for them.
You can purchase the Wet/Dry Bag from these retailers for anywhere from $8-$26, depending on which size you get. There are several different designs to choose from.
