Total Pillow Review/Giveaway

Now that I’m starting to get a little bit older, it’s a little harder sometimes to get comfortable….especially when traveling.  I don’t know why I notice it more now, but that’s just how it is.  The Total Pillow is one thing that makes life a bit more comfy, though.

Total Pillow is a pillow that is so versatile and can be used in a wide variety of ways.  Filled with microbeads and made out of a stretchy fabric with soft fleece on the front, it can be bent into different shapes, and it always retains its shape….plus it’s like one of those little stress squishies you can get….it’s just fun to squish.:)  It doesn’t flatten up like most pillows filled with down or cushioning.  Total Pillow can be used as a seat cushion, a neck rest, just as a pillow, a chair cushion, a head rest, as lumbar support, and as a floor pillow, etc.

One way that I like to use it is in my office chair.  Yes, the pillow is soft, but when you’re using it as support, it’s pretty heavy duty and doesn’t give a whole lot.  I can get better posture (which is good for me, as I tend to slouch a lot) if I put that pillow down in the small of my back in my office chair.  It’s comfortable, yet makes my body sit in an upright position.

With boys, I’m constantly in the floor playing, so it comes in pretty handy there too, especially to just sit on, instead of letting my rear end grow numb from the hard floor.:)  I’m actually looking forward to trying this on my plane ride to NYC in a couple weeks and on our trip to Colorado.  It’s a great support for the neck, so I think it’s going to be great for long rides in the car or plane. The only thing I don’t like is that it’s spot clean only; it’s not machine washable.  Having kids just makes me want to buy all washable stuff….however, according to packaging instructions, my kids shouldn’t really have this anyway.  Since it’s filled with microbeads, it can be dangerous for them, if they happen to puncture it and either swallow or inhale the beads somehow. You can purchase Total Pillow for $19.99, plus P&H.  Right now, if you buy, you get another one free, plus some extra compresses and compress covers thrown in, as well.

I would use this pillow for neck support when I spend too much time working at the computer. That would feel so awesome to get rid of the neck and shoulder aches that happen much too often.
