Flowers are all the rage right now…. fabric flowers, felt flowers, paper flowers, and more…. and I’m lovin’ it! While out at the SNAP Conference, I noticed a lot of ladies were wearing the cutest flower rings, and it set my wheels turning. When I went to Michaels and found the cutest little felt flowers beckoning to me from a display, I knew these were just what I needed to make my own colorful flower rings.
All you need to make your own rings are a few basic supplies…. the ring base (which I also found at Michaels), flowers, and a glue gun/glue sticks. These are super easy to make, and they’d make a great make & take party favor for a little girl or a tween birthday party. Of course, they’re also great for Mom too…. (Mother’s Day gift idea?)
I bought these flowers for about $3, but I have a habit of wanting to buy something just so I can take it home and pick it apart to figure out how it’s made. These flowers would be super easy to make with the right set of scalloped pinking shears, along with a bit of glue and some 29 cent felt. Now to just find the right shears…. but seriously, how can you beat 29 cents for such a chic piece of handmade fashion?
