It’s no secret to any of my friends that I don’t drink. And It’s not because I feel drinking is wrong….. I believe it’s ok if done in moderation. I just really don’t like the taste of alcohol at all; there’s just something about the taste that I can.not.stand…. same with coffee. Believe me, there have been many a time where I’ve wished I could sit down with a glass of wine at night or with a cup of coffee in the morning. But my taste buds won’t let me. So, since Dan and I do like to sit down with a glass of sparkling grape juice every once in awhile, I thought it’d be fun to create a sparkling drink recipe, especially in honor of New Year’s.
If you’re like me and just don’t drink at all, you may enjoy this non-alcoholic version of a celebratory drink. The nice thing is that it’s so easy and simple to make. I hope you enjoy!
- 1/4 cup Sparkling Grape Juice
- 1/4 cup Ginger Ale
- Spritz of fresh orange or tangerine
Simply mix the ingredients together, and then squeeze in a bit of fresh orange or tangerine juice. Just a spritz or two will do. Then either add a touch of orange peel or a slice of orange for decorative appeal. Enjoy!
