The holidays are here, and Christmas shopping has begun in full force! Are you ready? Do you have all the gifts you’ll need for all the loved ones in your life? I haven’t even begun….well, I take that back. I’ve bought one gift. So, I’ve been gathering ideas, and here are a few of what Dan and I would consider to be the hottest holiday gifts this season….
Gift Ideas for Kids
Angry Birds: Knock on Wood Game- Now kids (and parents) can play their favorite game offline.
LEGO Ultimate Building Set- This set comes with 405 pieces of awesome building fun, promoting creativity galore.
Syma R/C Helicopter- My boys love radio-controlled anything, so this is another great option for an awesome gift under the tree.
Easy Bake Ultimate Oven- For years, this has been under many a Christmas tree. This year, it’s a bit different, as the oven no longer requires light bulbs. Even though this might be a gift ordinarily thought of as a girl’s gift….I’ve thought of getting this for my son, simply because he loves to bake, and I think it’d get a LOT of use.
Colorforms- With stick-ons products for both boys and girls, these are also another affordable gift idea that’ll provide hours of fun for kids.
Melissa & Doug Triangular Crayons- These crayons are perfect for little hands, and they don’t roll, so they’re also pretty handy for travel and provide lots of creative entertainment.
Gift Ideas for Mom & Dad
Kindle Fire- Now I’m an advocate for regular books with actual paper pages to turn (there’s just nothin’ like the smell and feel of a book in your hands), but this would definitely be an awesome gift for those who are on the go much of the time, trying to pack lightly….or even sitting at the soccer field with the kiddos.
LEGO Star Wars Death Star- Ok, so most dads would probably agree….this is the mother of all gifts!
Traxxas R/C Vehicle- My husband is a kid at heart….just sayin’.
Sony Bloggie Touch Camera- For the vlogger or “videographer” at heart, this would be a techie gift that would continue to record those special memories time and again.
Kodak Zi8 Video Camera- Another great option for a video camera….
KitchenAid Mixer- This is one kitchen appliance I personally have been dreaming about for quite awhile.
The Taste of Home Cookbook- An inexpensive gift that will continue to give back over and over again.
Uno Attack- The classic card game is alive with hilarious fun for the whole family.
Finally, the Fellowes 69Cb Cross-Cut Shredder- This shredder is the ultimate in deskside/home shredders and offers several practical, helpful features, including Jam Blocker, SilentShred, SafeSense Technology, and a 5-gallon pull-out bin. This gift would not only help to rid your office of paper clutter, but it would also continue to give back. A shredder isn’t just about ridding your office of all the clutter and junk mail that comes into your home on any given day. It’s also about protecting your family. Identity theft is a huge problem that continues to grow, affecting more individuals every single day. This is a gift that will offer protection from that threat to your safety and security.
The great news is that Fellowes is giving one MamaBuzz reader a 69Cb Cross-Cut Shredder, just in time for the holiday season! You can enter to win by doing one or more of the following; just be sure to leave a separate comment for each way that you enter. I’ll draw the winner, via random.org, on Tuesday, December 13. This giveaway is open to U.S. only (void where prohibited). No purchase is necessary, and the odds of winning are based on a number of entries. Good luck, and have a wonderful day!
