Petz Bunnyz Bunch Giveaway

Just in time for Easter, Ubisoft has the cutest game available for NintendoDS. The Petz line of games has added a new addition, Petz Bunnyz Bunch.

In this game, kids can take care of their very own family of bunnies. They can feed their bunnies, give them a loving home, teach them tricks like how to jump up on the furniture, even play games with them. If they take good care of their bunnies, the bunnies will reward the player with games or other rewards. These bunnies are intelligent, meaning they know what’s going on, so they’re not your average, ordinary bunnies. They’ll know whether or not they’re being taken care of. They can even play music.

You can purchase Petz Bunnyz Bunch for $29.99 from Ubisoft; it’s rated E for Everyone. This game would definitely make a great substitution for the teeth-rotting candy kids normally get at Easter….although, that teeth-rotting candy is pretty good.:)

    Raving Rabbids Travel in Time

History and time travel, along with science and art, are two hot topics with Jacob.  He has a healthy fascination, and once he learns about something, he tends to want to explore it even more and has no hesitation in asking all the questions he can.  I love games that are not only fun, but have educational quality, as well.  It’s a win-win situation.

Raving Rabbids Travel in Time is a new game, just released by Ubisoft this fall.  The game begins in the bathroom of a museum, where players can create their own profiles and go on to play the game.  From there they can explore what the museum has to offer, things that arise out of all time eras.  They can explore costumes, songs, and dancing; they can even see how much history they actually know, via the Quiz Hall.  The thing is, those raving rabbids may do something….make a simple mistake….that could alter history, making everything change.  Here is Jacob’s explanation….

First, you create a profile, and get your own costume.  Then you have to collect coins, as you walk around in the museum.  You travel back in time, go to historical places like the time of King Arthur, etc.  You keep playing to unlock new levels, new virtual worlds.  It’s really funny because the bunny (rabbid) goes crazy when you push the button on the washing machine; and the washing machine sucks you into time.  The washing machine is the time machine.  I’ve been on the Titanic adventure where you have to collect/eat beans; there’s another one where you’re in gold mine carts, and you go through shooting all the volcanic rocks you can with the Wii remote; there’s an airplane where you have to balance your wings and race.Jacob loves playing this game, and frankly, I like for him to play it because, once again, it’s not like he’s just sitting on a couch pushing buttons.  He’s actually moving around with the Wii remotes, plus he’s exploring parts of history in a fun, kid-friendly way.  You can purchase Raving Rabbids Travel in Time for $49.99 from UbiShop.  It’s rated E for Everyone 10+ and can be played with up to 4 players.  You can try playing the Raving Rabbids Travel in Time Flash Game online.  There is so much adventure and suspense within this game, as you never know what those crazy rabbids are going to do next.  I will warn parents that you might want to supervise kids when playing this game, as there is some crude humor and reference to alcohol, according to Ubisoft.  I’m not concerned by the mild cartoon violence, mainly because I grew up with Looney Tunes….watching a coyote get blown up multiple times by Acme built explosives. LOL

Another cool feature to this game is that you can even play with other players, from around the world, if your Wii is connected to the internet.  Of course, careful supervision of children is required if they do this.  Be sure to Like UbiParents on Facebook and follow @Ubisoft on Twitter.
