I don’t have a little girl right now, but I do have a particular  niece who I’m thinking of giving this Bible to, as I know she’d enjoy it. This Bible is the My Princess Bible, written by Andy Holmes.

My Princess Bible is a storybook for little girls, based on 19 real-life women, or princesses, from the Bible.  These women were princesses because they were the daughter of the King.  The pictures in the book are more modern-day, as the author seeks for readers to learn about these Biblical princesses, but he also wants them to see themselves as princesses too.  There is a rhyming story for each woman, and readers will not only enjoy the story but will learn valuable character traits that a princess must have.  The last story in the book is taken from Psalm 139, which is a key passage on how God created us and how special we are to Him.
